note to tell you how pleased Mert and I were with your service,
adjustment, made on our Body Block shield.
He says the quality of this shield is far superior and much easier to
take on & off. He will definitely recommend your company for
quality products and service.
you down the road-
"I picked up my newly painted coach at the factory. On the way home,
a large rock about the size of a baseball hit the front of my
coach. If it wasn't for the armor, I probably would have had a $1000 in
damages. The Body Block
"I am very pleased with your products
and customer service.
We had the Body
Block™ installed and it is really an asset to the beauty of
the coach. The ugly black bra that so many coaches have on them
make them all look alike, however with your product you can see the
lines and integrity of the coach it self."

you You really have a 5 stars customer service."
"Fortunately there are some
manufacturers who rise above the frequent "who cares" attitude of too
many others. One such is Summit Products, Inc.
"We have Summit's Body Block (stone/bug
shield) installed on the front of our coach but several problems arose
due to it having been installed such that it could catch on the
pavement under certain circumstances. A call to Albert at the company
explaining the problem led to immediately being invited to stop at the
factory for corrective action.
"Upon stopping at the factory our coach was immediately taken in, the
shield removed and several inches cut off. The shortened material
was then finished off just like new, and updated supports and spacers
installed at no additional cost.
"Let me add that I have been in many factories and places of business
over the years. This one was one of the cleanest and neatest I have
ever observed. The entire attitude seems to be one of putting out
first-class product in a first-class manner."
convey to Johnny our sincere appreciation for his assistance and
guidance. The bumpers arrived today as promised. His recommendation to
use plastic cleaner and scratch remover, available at motorcycle
dealerships, has proved beneficial. After a couple applications of the
cleaner and the scratch remover there has been noticeable improvement
in the brightness, clarity and color of the Body Block Shield.
"Received my order
today, as you promised, and installed it. Everything was exactly as
ordered and it looks great! The packaging was incredible! I also
appreciated the fact you always answered emails immediately and/or
called me. Great service! You are a class company! I'll recommend you
every chance I get. I purchased from you on a recommendation of another
satisfied motor home owner. Good new travels fast. Thanks!"
"Received the step risers
and step covers Friday. Put them on today and man do they look
good. I do appreciate doing business with you and will highly recommend
you to my other rv friends. Again thanks a lot."
"I was traveling
in the left hand lane down the interstate. A semi was in front of me
and another was to my right. Without warning, the semi in front of me
veered to the right to avoid a fiberglass cargo carrier that had fallen
onto the road. I had no choice but to hit the carrier directly. The
carrier burst into a thousand pieces as my motor coach plowed thru it.
When traffic cleared, I pulled over to inspect the damage. To my
surprise, the only damage was a small scratch at the bottom of the shield.
The coach was untouched and I could continue on my journey. Thanks!"
"I want to thank
you and your company for the very nice products. They are "Great" ! My
wife even likes them.......;-) We've recieved so many comments from
people about them we are still smiling ! I've told everyone where I got
them. I hope this will drum up more business for you? I'm looking
forward to doing more business with you in the future on other products
you have and will have. Keep up the Great work ! Kind regards"
recieved the step covers we
spoke about last week. You were correct, they were extremely easy to
install. They look great and hide the terrible black paint job on the
steps as well as replace the 'sandpaper' non-slip pad with the easy to
clean non slip pad from you."
"You know I buy a
bunch of stuff off the Internet and work with folks all around the
country on various purchases but to my recollection I have never had
anybody come back to me with a lower estimate than the first which I
agreed to! Thank you for going the extra mile for me and you can bet
that I will certainly recommend you and your company to anyone I meet
on the road. Regards and a sincere Thank You!"
a 2000 Mountain Aire Diesel pusher. Recently we had a failure in our Body Block
manufactured by Summit Products, Inc. I contacted Albert at the Summit
factory and he asked me to E-mail photos of the damaged area. I did so
and upon review of these photos Albert agreed to complete a replacement
of the Body Block. I
was unable to travel to the factory in Johnston, Iowa and Albert
suggested that he do the repair at the FMCA convention in Hutchinson,
Kansas. This was agreed upon and Monday was set as the repair date.
Albert contacted me on my cellular phone that morning, and I advised
him I would arrive at Hutchinson at approximately noon. Upon arrival at
11:30 am I called Albert and he set a time of 12:30 pm for the repair.
The repair men arrived as scheduled and completed the repair while we
were at lunch. What a great testament to a good company giving great
service. Again thanks to Albert, Terry and all the folks at Summit

"I was speaking
with another coach owner while in Tampa Florida. The other owner was
traveling down I-75 when a steel fence post fell off of the truck
traveling in front of them. The post bounced once and then struck the shield on the
front of their coach, leaving a ¾” deep gouge in the
polycarbonate shield. When the police officer arrived and surveyed the
situation, he noted that the passenger, the coach owner’s
granddaughter, was lucky that the coach was fitted with the shield.
Why? He stated that given the way the angle of the 2-1/2”
diameter pipe was impaled in the shield, the pipe would have easily
pierced the fiberglass cap and struck the person in the passenger seat
without the armor. Needless to say, the coach owner promptly purchased
a new shield
to replace the damaged unit."
"A customer was
driving down the interstate one evening at 65 mph when a deer jumped
out and collided with the front of their Monaco coach. The damage to
the coach should have been between $10,000 and $20,000, but
fortunately, the Body Block shield absorbed the impact. The shield did
break, but it saved the customer a great deal of money and time for
repairs. A new shield was ordered and the customer was on his was in a

"I just wanted to
say thank you for your generosity concerning the fuel door accents that I
recently received for my Newmar, KountryStar. They look great and the
fit is perfect. Its nice to know that there are still companies that
practice customer support instead of just lip service. I'll make a
point of letting other RVers know the kind of service you provide."
"We were driving
cross-country to see our grandkids. On the interstate ahead of us, a
lumber truck hauling 4x4’s dropped a few boards. We never saw the
lumber until the semi-trailer ahead of me drove over the boards and
kicked one up at my coach. I told myself that it could get real ugly if
that came thru the windshield... Fortunately, the 4x4 hit the Body Block
armor protecting the front of the coach. When traffic cleared, I pulled
over and inspected the damage, expecting the worse. You can imagine my
surprise when I found none at all!"
"Thanks for all
your help. I couldn't have asked any company to be more responsive and
helpful than yours has been."
repaired the plastic handle for Frances’ trash compactor. This
was not something we had done before, but she really needed some help.
She was so happy with the results (and the price), that she returned a
week later with some fresh, home-made cookies. We were all quite happy
at that point."
Albert, Thank you so much for prompt shipping of the stainless steel step risers
that I received as the highest bidder at the SE Chapter American Coach
Rally at Lazy Days mid January. Thank you for the donation, our step
risers look wonderful & fit perfect. Thank you."
we received the 4 replacement Jack
Pads. Our white ones (12 x 12) that we purchased last year at the
Tampa RV Show split in half during our summer travels and we did not
have your card with us. Finally, we went through all our records and
came across your card. We called and were told that you would ship 4
replacement (Black 16 x 16) Jack Pads. Naturally, we held our breath.
Within the week, the 4 new Jack Pads arrived! Thank you so much. We
even used the split pads all summer because we really felt it was a
great product and sure beat using wood that cracked all the time. We
look forward to using the new pads and will gladly pass your business
cards to our friends. Several of our Newmar friends have inquired about
our white Jack Pads, just wait till they see the new black ones! Thank
you again. What a joy to find a company that puts the customer first!"
want to thank you for responding so promptly to our problems. We both
feel very sorry that it did not work out after all your hard work in
trying to satisfy a customer. You have a very fine product and I think
most the problem lies with our motor home's front-end configuration. We
have told many of our friends what a nice operation you run, and how
you tried to remedy the situation and certainly went beyond the call of
did a super job installing our stainless.
We are so pleased! Jack K. called when his coach was finished and told
us how happy he was so we knew we had nothing to fear. The boys were
pleasant and caring and their expertise was evident early on. They
worked so well together, never getting in each other's way or
duplicating any effort. Feel free to have any potential customer call
Sincerely, Jerry & Nonnie
P.S. Last week while visiting the American Coach service center
in Decatur I was parked next to a guy who had stainless installed by an
outfit in, I think, Lakeland. He said by the time he got back home to
Illinois, it was coming off. He called and was told to go to Home Depot
and buy some caulking and put it back on. Instead, he traded in the
coach and bought an '05 Tradition. He said if he has stainless
installed it definitely will be yours. Hurrah for Summit Products! We
still get compliments everywhere we go."
arrived today and were installed right away, I just wanted to tell you
guys that they look great, really dress up the entry way to my coach!
"PS: I think it
even runs better now too...LOL"
is the most valuable asset we have added to our motor home, it still
shines like new 3 years later."

||"James and Trudell were traveling down US
Highway 81 in their 1 week old coach. Traffic was moving along at 70-80
miles per hour and they were boxed in by several cars and a
semi-tractor rig. When they first saw the 2’ long tire retread
fly at their coach from underneath the rear tires of the semi, they
knew the impact was going to be bad. It was. The sound of the impact
alone was enough to cause the new coach owners to cry. They could not
get off of the highway for several more miles, so they drove along
anticipating the worst. Surprise and relief is what they found when
they inspected the front of their coach. The Body
Block shield took the brunt of the impact and distributed it over
such a wide area that the only sign of damage was a black rubber smudge
mark. A little spit and a rub with James’ thumb and the mark was
gone. They now tell all of their friends, don’t waste your money
on the film, get the real protection from Summit Products. "
