If you are getting the optional step surround we need measurements A through H as shown on the image below
A is measured horizontally from the wheel flare crease to the step opening
B is measured horizontally from the step opening to the front cap molding
C is measured horizontally from the left side of the step opening to the front cap molding
D is measured horizontally from the wheel flare crease to the front cap molding
E is measured vertically. Hook your tape measure to the underside of the curve on the bottom and wrap it around to measure up to the bottom of the entry door molding
F is measured vertically from the top of the step opening to the bottom of the entry door molding
G is measured horizontally even with the bottom of the entry door molding from the front cap molding to the wheel flare crease
H is measured vertically. Hook your tape measure to the underside of the curve on the bottom and wrap it around to measure up to the bottom of the entry door molding
NOTE: Due to different layouts you may end up with different panel numbers than what is listed below and this is okay!
P1 will be measurement B above (if you aren’t getting a step surround)
P2 will be measurement A above (if you aren’t getting a step surround)
P3 is behind the front wheel measured from the left edge to the wheel flare crease as shown below
P4 through P7 will be straight panels just measure straight across
P8 and P9 measure the same as you did on P3 above
P10 through P12 are angled panels so we need the width of each panel measured horizontally (don’t measure parallel to the bottom edge) We also need the door height measured the the front edge of the front angled door (B below) and the rear edge of the rear angled door (C below)
On the drivers side
D1 and D2 will be straight panels, measure straight across
D3 is in front of the front wheel and will have a cutout for the generator exhaust, measure from the left edge to the wheel flare crease.
D4 is behind the front wheel, measure from the crease to the edge
D5 through D8 are straight doors
D9 and D10 measure the same as D4
D11 through D13 are the rear angled panels, measure the same as you did on P10 – P12
If you have notice anything that will interfere with the stainless panels (door latches, def doors, etc) please let us know as we will need additional measurements
